1. COVID-19 stands for Corona Virus Disease-2019.

3. Patients of age 65 and older make up 80% of total deaths caused by corona virus.

4. People with like heart disorders, lungs disorders, diabetes and other such diseases are more likely to die from this virus than other healthy people.

5. On the 30th of May, according to W.H.O there were,

  • 10 potential COVID-19 vaccines in the clinical phase of testing.
  • 121 potential COVID-19 vaccines in the pre-clinical phase of testing.
  • Potential vaccines are being developed worldwide, with 46% being developed in North America, 18% in Europe, 18% in Asia and Australia and 18% in China.

6. People with mild disease, recovery time is about two weeks, while people with severe or critical disease recover within three to six weeks.

7. America has lost more people to corona virus than they had lost in World War 1.

8. COVID-19 is the third virus outbreak of corona virus family. MERS was the first to be reported in 2003 with the following reported data.

9. There is neither any vaccine nor any specific vaccine available for any of the corona virus mentioned above.

10. The incubation period for COVID-19 is 2-14 days. It means that the symptoms of COVID-19 can appear anytime between 2-14 days of getting infected.

  2. Exposing yourself to the sun or to temperatures higher than 25 degrees Centigrade prevents the coronavirus disease.

  4. Being able to hold your breath for 10 seconds or more without coughing or feeling discomfort means you are free from the coronavirus disease or any other lung disease.
  5. COVID-19 is a bacteria.
  6. Prolonged use of masks can cause Carbon dioxide intoxication.
  7. Thermal scanners can detect COVID-19.
  8. COVID-19 is transmitted through houseflies.
  9. Spraying and introducing bleach or another disinfectant into your body will protect you against COVID-19.
  10. Cold weather and snow can kill the new coronavirus.
